Pakistan on Monday test-fired a nuclear-capable cruise missile with ‘stealth features’, the military said, the country’s first such exercise in more than three months.

The military described the Hatf-VII Babur missile as a “low-flying, terrain-hugging missile, which can strike targets both at land and sea with pin point accuracy” and has a range of 700 kilometres.

Equipped with modern cruise missile technology of Terrain Contour Matching (TERCOM) and Digital Scene Matching and Area Co-relation (DSMAC), it can carry both nuclear and conventional warheads. The military said Monday’s launch was carried out from a “Multi Tube Missile Launch Vehicle (MLV)”, which it said improved the Babur system’s targeting and deployment capabilities.

The test was witnessed by Strategic Plans Division Director General Lieutenant General (r) Khalid Ahmed Kidwai, National Engineering and Scientific Commission (Nescom) Chairman Muhammad Irfan Burney and senior officers from the armed forces and strategic organisations.

In Monday’s test the National Command Authority’s fully automated Strategic Command and Control Support System (SCCSS) was once again employed. It enables robust command and control capability of all strategic assets with round the clock situational awareness in a digitised network-centric environment to decision makers at National Command Centre (NCC).

The system has the added capability of real time remote monitoring of missile flight path. The test consolidates and strengthens Pakistan’s deterrence capability and national security.

The successful test has also been warmly appreciated by President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, who have congratulated the scientists and engineers on their outstanding success.

Pakistan’s last missile test, also of a Hatf-VII, came in June at the end of a spate of five launches in around six weeks that followed arch-rival India successfully firing its Agni V rocket, which can deliver a nuclear warhead anywhere in China.

Pakistan have fought three wars – two over the disputed Himalayan territory of Kashmir – and have routinely carried out missile tests since both demonstrated nuclear weapons capability in 1998.

Defence analysts say India’s strategic priorities are focusing more on China, while Pakistan is still concerned about its eastern neighbour.

The missile is named after Emperor Zaheer al Deen Babur, a grandson of Mongol king Timur and founder of the Muslim Mughal Dynasty in Central and South Asia that produced the modern nation of Pakistan.

CIA Recruiting African & Central Asian Terrorists Against Pakistan

Kabul—A reliable security source Monday confirmed that the Kunar- based Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has started training a number of African and Central Asian militants for possible use in future terrorist actions.

The security sources told this correspondent that while over two dozen Central Asian militants belonging to Islamic Jihad Union and Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan were trained by TTP local commanders, at least six to eight Africans, Nigerians, Chadians and Somalians had also reached TTP hideouts in Nuristan. There the TTP has three training camps.

An Afghan security source confirmed to this scribe that at least two or possibly three Nigerians and two or three Niger and Chad nationals linked with a militant group called BOKO HAARAM entered into Afghanistan and went missing.

The militants had come at the invitation of TTP Deputy Commander Waliur Rehman who is interested to expand its arms to include Africans in war against terrorism. According to a report the TTP may try to include African nationals holding fake Nigerian, Chad, Mali or Cameroon passports in their group and using Christians also to carry out some terrorist acts.

Some Africans who penetrated into the region are known by their codenames: “Yusuf Oveyoza”, “Abu Omar” and “Commander Kola”.

Security officials say that Nooristan and Kunar are now popping up as “the new Waziristan” and several Central Asians, Uzbeks, Tajik, Kirghiz, Pakistanis, Afghans and Africans are being trained for expansion of TTP cells.

Security officials believe that the expansion of TTP network began soon after Fazlullah (Mulla Radio) of Swat Movement joined hands with TTP leaders in Afghanistan.

Several Afghan leaders aligned with anti-Pakistan elements such as the leader of Wefaq-Milli Afghanistan Bismillah Sher are funding the anti-Pakistan militants. Bismillah Sher’s business connection with Indian business community is not a secret.

The Radically anarchic religious militants. Exploiting the heretical interpretations of religious ideals, these terrorist gangs have been on the rampage within the Muslim lands, primarily target-ing Iraq and Pakistan with devastating effects. By declaring war on the Muslim lands from within their territories, the terrorists have become the most valuable assets for the Western crusaders to justify their global wars and colonization.

Afghan Taliban are freedom fighters and doing a legitimate war of resistance against foreign occupation forces. Afghan Taliban are friends of Pakistan and have never caused a single act of terror against Pakistan. They never destroy schools not kill women and children.

TTP are Pentagon Taliban, created by CIA to wage a 4th Generation war against Pakistan and are ruthless in killing women and children and attack Pakistan army and civilians all over the country in suicide bombings, car bombs and assassinations.

TTP is based in Kunar, backed by RAW and CIA and no drones are ever launched against TTP. All drones are against Afghan Taliban and their Pakistani sympathizer tribes.

One track of the U.S. plan has been a little-talked-about proxy army run by the CIA. For years, the Agency has trained and employed six clandestine militias that operate near the cities of Kandahar, Kabul, and Jalalabad as well as in Khost, Kunar, and Paktika provinces. Working with U.S. Special Forces and controlled by Americans, these “Counter-terror Pursuit Teams”evidently operate free of any Afghan governmental supervision and have reportedly carried out cross-border raids into Pakistan, offering their American patrons a classic benefit of proxy warfare: plausible deniability.

The new 4thGW is different from cold war or second world war era. The new urban war is through proxies, insurgents, terrorists and anarchist which US power only to mop up the mess.
